Stronger Communities Programme – Round 9

David Batt MP, is now accepting applications for Round 9 of the Stronger Communities Programme.

Funding Available:

  • Grants between $2,500 and $20,000
  • Up to 100% of eligible project costs (depending on your organisation)
  • Maximum total project cost: $50,000

Key Dates:

  • Applications close: 5pm, Tuesday 11 November 2025

Who Can Apply:

  • Incorporated not-for-profit entities
  • Local governing bodies (e.g., local councils)
  • State government agencies (e.g., fire service, emergency services)
  • Incorporated trustees managing community assets
  • Sponsors on behalf of unincorporated organisations

Criteria

( Round 9 guidelines Applications can be made for funding between $2,500- $20,000, for up to 100% of eligible project costs, depending on your organisation).
What type of Entity are you?*
Are you an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust with responsibility for a community asset or property.?*
Are you charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)?*
Are you registered for GST?*
Are you applying as a sponsor on behalf of an unincorporated organisation?*
Does the project align with at least one of the objectives stated in section 2, page 5 of the guidelines? (detail below)*
Does it require council approval?*
Can your project be completed by 30 April 2026?*

All applications will be assessed by an independent panel. Grants are not ongoing and recommendations from the panel will be assessed by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. Please attach any supporting documentation i.e. plans, prices etc.
