Straight off the Batt is back | Mobile office resumes across Hinkler

The Federal Member for Hinkler David Batt MP will resume his ‘Straight off the Batt’ mobile office tour next week.

Following Budget Week in Canberra and one year since being elected to Federal Parliament, the Hinkler MP is keen to hear from constituents right across the region.

“It’s a priority of mine to get on the road to different locations in Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Childers and our coastal communities,” Mr Batt said.

“The mobile office provides a unique opportunity to meet face to face with people across the vast Hinkler electorate.

I want to make the most of every moment I’m not in Canberra to best understand the issues that impact the people of my region.”

The informal catch ups don’t require an appointment and Mr Batt and his staff can provide support with matters relating to Centrelink, veterans affairs, immigration, taxation and all Federal Government issues.

Mr Batt is also looking forward to discussing impacts of Budget 2026/27.
