The Federal Member for Hinkler David Batt MP will resume his ‘Straight off the Batt’ mobile office tour next week.
The upcoming run will include visits to River Heads, Toogoom, Burrum Heads, Aldershot, Howard and Buxton.
Mr Batt said Parliament’s winter recess provides the perfect opportunity to meet directly with locals across the vast electorate.
“It’s a priority of mine to regularly visit locations big and small right across Hinkler,” Mr Batt said.
“The mobile office is a chance for face-to-face discussions and no appointment is required.
I want to make the most of every moment I’m not in Canberra to best understand the issues that matter the most to the people of my region.”
Mr Batt and his staff can provide support with matters relating to Centrelink, veterans’ affairs, immigration, taxation and all Federal Government issues.
The mobile office will also provide residents with direct access to Hinkler’s Biggest Survey. Mr Batt is urging everyone in his electorate to now have a say through the survey which runs until the end of July.
“It covers issues relating to energy, taxation, health, cost of living, transport, welfare, seniors, veterans, the environment and much more,” Mr Batt said.
Constituents who complete the survey will go into the draw to receive one of three $100 gift vouchers.
