The Federal Member for Hinkler David Batt MP will host a Business Forum in Hervey Bay with Leader of the Opposition Angus Taylor MP and Leader of The Nationals Senator Matt Canavan.
The breakfast will take place next week, Wednesday July 29, at ‘The Clubhouse’ Hervey Bay Golf Club for small business owners, tourism operators and locals to discuss the issues affecting businesses.
The forum follows Mr Batt’s Small Business Survey in May and will provide a chance for locals to hear directly about the Coalition’s plan for a fairer, freer, and better Australia.
Mr Batt said this is an opportunity for locals to have a say and explain firsthand how Labor’s Budget of broken promises is affecting Fraser Coast businesses.
“Under Labor, prices are up, real wages are down, productivity is in retreat and Australians are going backwards. Only the Coalition has the strong plan, the strong team, and the strong leadership to save Australia – to turn tough times into better times,” Mr Batt said.
